Unity Park
A downtown greenway along the Reedy, with a food hall and tower view
About this park
Downtown Greenville's newest flagship park, a 60-acre open greenway along the Reedy River with wide walking paths, the Honor Tower, and a food hall on the bike path. Leashed only, but the long, straight loop doubles as the city's default post-work leashed walk and hooks directly into the Swamp Rabbit Trail for longer miles.
Amenities
What visitors say
Synthesized from 1733 Google reviewsThe wide, straight paths are easy on senior dogs and legible for nervous handlers. The food-hall stretch along the bike path turns a leashed walk into a stop-for-a-beer outing, which is the social draw locals call out most.
A broad mix of downtown regulars, tourists, joggers, and families, busiest on sunny weekends when the soccer lawn and splash pads fill up. Dogs are a constant presence but not the main character.
Best for
Before you go
Shade is thin across most of the park, and reviewers note the turf burning out during heat waves, so plan summer visits for early morning or evening. A brewery sits across the creek and accepts leashed dogs on its outdoor patio.
