Leashed-only, but the trail variety (lake loops, observation decks, the naturescape playground) makes it a genuine destination on its own and the obvious pairing with the adjacent fenced dog park.

Leashes are required throughout the preserve, including the boardwalks. The main trail loop can still show storm damage from recent hurricane seasons, so check the Conestee Foundation trail status before committing to the long version.
