A quieter river launch and the bridge across to Argo

Amenities
Bandemer Nature Area reviews
What visitors consistently sayReviewers love the picnic area, the kayak launch, and the easy walk across the bridge to Argo, which makes Bandemer the quieter half of the same river loop. Fall foliage along the water gets recurring praise.
The quieter counterpart to Argo across the bridge, drawing kayakers at the launch, frisbee-golf players, and a steady dock crowd; warm weekends fill the picnic area while weekday mornings stay calm.
Best for
Before you go
If the Argo lot is full, park at Bandemer and walk the bridge over instead of circling for a spot. The dirt-bike track section is unmarked on most maps and gets rougher footing, so steer leashed dogs toward the paved B2B trail.
