Lake Gerar Park
Small in-town lake for a quiet on-leash morning loop
About this park
A pocket urban park around a small lake in north Rehoboth, two blocks from the boardwalk. The path skirts the lake on the north and west sides; the south half drops to a grass spur that ends near a backyard. Best as a short leashed walk before the beach crowds arrive, with benches, a fishing pier, and a deck overlooking the water.
Amenities
Lake Gerar Park reviews
What visitors consistently sayReviewers describe a calm, uncrowded loop that works well for a short morning stroll. The deck and fishing pier come up often as scenic stopping points away from the beach traffic.
Best for
Before you go
Dogs must stay leashed; this is a city park, not an off-leash area. The path doesn't fully circle the lake, so plan to retrace your steps or walk a short block on the road to complete a loop.
