Lake of the Isles Dog Park
Fenced lakeside acres with flood lights and a 20-pound side
About this park
A fully fenced off-leash park along the Chain of Lakes with a separate enclosure for dogs 20 pounds and under. Surface is mulch and soft earth that turns muddy after rain, and flood lights extend the usable hours into evening. The big draw is the lakeside setting and the dense Uptown regular crowd.
Amenities
Lake of the Isles Dog Park reviews
What visitors consistently sayReviewers praise the lakeside location, the genuine 20-pounds-and-under enclosure, and the evening flood lights that keep the park usable past sunset. Tennis balls tend to be in supply.
A busy Uptown crowd, especially weekday mornings around 9am. Reviews note plenty of well-meaning owners alongside some who are still learning their dogs' cues.
Best for
Before you go
Bring your own water and waste bags. The park doesn't supply either, despite what the lakeside setting might suggest. Wear closed-toe shoes; mulch and soft earth are unfriendly to flip-flops.
